What we know about air
Air is a substance from a chemical point of view.
It's a mixture of nitrogen (3/5), oxygen (1/5), water vapours, carbon dioxide and noble gases.
It has no scent, colour or taste.
It’s a sustainable ecological source of energy (wind turbines, wind mills, sailboats).
We use it for cooling (computers, cars and rooms) and heating (cars, rooms)
It enables us to have certain experiences with sports (parachuting, gliding….)
It’s an important ingredient for life (breathing, photosynthesis )
Air pollution is bad for our health (smoke pollution, acid rain, global warming, ozone hole
We use devices to measure the strength, seed and direction of wind
